How to Play Oasis Poker (SoftSwiss) (BGaming)
A traditional 52-card deck of fifty-two cards without jokers is used in Oasis Poker, which is shuffled before each hand.
The goal of this poker is to get payouts by collecting a higher hand than the dealer.
In general, this version of oasis poker has classic rules, described in the separate article on the portal Casinoz. However it makes sense to discuss them in detail, because some nuances require throughout consideration. Furthermore, novice clients of casinos, who are not familiar with this game, can read this article.
Let's start with a description of the gameplay. First, you should make ante. Users can play only on one box. The bet size varies according to the user's desire from one to one hundred credits. The coin values are: 1, 5, 10, 25 and 100 credits.
Then the virtual croupier deals five cards to the player and himself. The cards are dealing in the following way: one card to the customer, one card to the dealer. The dealer faces up one his card. So all player see their cards and one dealer's card.
Then the client estimates the situation and determines the number of cards for exchanging. This can be done with any number of them from one to five. This service is fee-based. Exchange of each card costs one ante. It is possible to exchange cards only once.
The player will make one of two possible decisions, no matter whether he exchanged cards or not:
- To continue the participation in game making the bet called Raise. It equals two antes.
- To fold, losing ante.
If he folds, the round is over. If he raises (or calls, as it is also called), the dealer shows all his cards and checks the presence of the minimum combination. The further situation depends on its availability.
- If the dealer's cards have not even an ace with a king, he pays the player one ante, after which the round is over.
- If the dealer has a combination, he compares his hand with the customer's hand. If the dealer has higher hand, he takes the player's ante and raise. If a player wins, his ante is paid 1:1 and the payout for raise (we remind you that it is equal to two antes) is made according to the following odds, established for all possible hands (their size is traditional):
- Ace-king - 1:1
- Pair - 1:1
- Two pairs - 2:1
- Three of a kind - 3:1
- Straight - 4:1
- Flush - 5:1
- Full house - 7:1
- Four of a kind - 20:1
- Straight flush - 50:1
- Royal flush - 100:1
If the combinations have the same rank, the dealer declares a draw and the bets are returned. Money for the exchanges will not be paid back.
Insurance from "No Game" and the purchase of the sixth card in Oasis Poker from SoftSwiss are not available.
We don't have precise data about the theoretical payout percentage that can be achieved in this model, playing according to an optimal strategy.
