How to Play Progressive Blackjack (Playtech)
Progressive Blackjack is an
online blackjack with the progressive jackpot released by Playtech in which it is possible to wager on one box.
Progressive Blackjack is played using six standard 52-card decks with no jokers. The cards are shuffled before each deal.
It is allowed to bet from one to one hundred euros at Europa Casino.
This is an American kind of this game with rules close to those that are adopted in brick and mortar casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. However Progressive Blackjack has a number of its own features. Therefore, let's discuss them in detail:
- At the beginning of each round the croupier deals two cards to himself. One of them is dealt face up.
- The dealer does not check for blackjack if there is a face up ace or ten.
- The dealer stands on any seventeen.
- It is allowed to double (including after a split).
- If the dealer has a ten, and blackjack appears in hands formed after a double, a draw is announced and all bets are returned to players (blackjack with a face up ace in this situation means a loss).
- It is allowed to split once per hand.
- Only one card is added to each split ace.
- An ace and a ten in a hand formed after a split can not be considered to be blackjack (their score is 21).
- It is allowed to take insurance against blackjack if the croupier has a face up ace (the multiplier is 2:1).
- The ten-card hand without bust automatically wins if the dealer does not have blackjack.
- It is prohibited to surrender in Progressive Blackjack.
The ordinary box is paid 1:1. The multiplier for blackjack is 2:1.
