Craps Description

The gaming field is at the table with boards where the shooter rolls a couple of dice. As a result of every roll, the dice make a combination of numbers imaged at the top sides of the dice, which can be from two to twelve.

The gameplay consists of two rounds:

1. Come Out Roll - the first roll of the round when the Point is estimated,
2. Point Roll - all rolls after Come Out Roll.

Before the game begins, the gamblers place their bets - Don’t Pass Line or Pass Line (loss or win of the shooter). Then Come Out Roll begins. The following combinations can be made as a result of this roll:

• Craps – the total score is 2, 3, or 12. Pass Line bet loses, but Don’t Pass Line wins 1:1 if the score is 2 or 3 and goes back to the player if it is 12.
• Natural - the total score is 7 or 11. Don't Pass Line loses, but Pass Line wins 1:1.
• Point - the total score is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 12. Herewith, the score is fixed and called Point.

In the Point Roll round, the Don't Pass Line and Pass Line are drawn in the following way: the player rolls the dice until he gets the Point or 7. If he hits seven, Pass Line loses, but Don't Pass Line wins 1:1. If he hits Point, he gets an opposite result, which means Don't Pass Line doesn't work, but Pass Line is paid 1:1.

The customer is in the right to place additional bets in both game rounds. As soon as the draw is over, the game begins from the first round. Don't Pass Line and Pass Line bets are only accepted before the first round begins, while similar bets, such as Don't Come and Come, are accepted at any moment except in the first round.

Many gamblers who play Craps only place Pass Line and Don't Pass Line bets. They are paid 1:1. However, if you place a side bet, you can earn more because payoffs are higher here:

To play Craps, it can be helpful to know the terms used in this game:

• the shooter or the leading player – the player who throws the dice.
• Come out roll – the first roll made by the shooter before Point is estimated or after Point is made. Here you can place Pass Line and hope to win if 7 or 11 rolls. The bet loses if 2, 3, or 12 rolls. However, if 7, 2, 11, 3, or 12 rolls, the shooter rolls again. If any other number rolls, it becomes Point.
• Point – the number (4, 9, 10, 5, 6, 8), which the shooter needs to hit to win Pass Line.
• Establish Point – any other number except 7, 11, 2, 3, or 12 rolled in the come-out round.
• Make Point – means to repeat an established Point. If the player repeats Point, Pass Line wins. To make Pass Line lose, it is necessary to hit 7. Other numbers don't affect the result, so the shooter rolls the dice until he hits Point or seven.
• Box Cars – the shooter rolls two sixes.
• Craps Out – the shooter rolls 12, 2, or 3 in the come-out roll.
